Course Overview
The Cardiac Essentials Workshop is a 10-hour training program spread over two days, designed for final-stage medical students and fresh graduate doctors. This workshop aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of ECG interpretation, cardiac arrhythmias, and essential cardiac case management. It combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice to equip participants with the necessary skills to diagnose and manage common cardiac conditions effectively.
Detailed Course Topics:
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand the fundamentals of ECG interpretation and identify normal ECG patterns.
Approach and differentiate between various types of cardiac arrhythmias, including tachycardia, bradycardia, and heart blocks.
Assess and manage ischemic heart disease and heart failure cases.
Diagnose and manage hypertension, including accurate blood pressure measurement techniques.
Apply hands-on skills in ECG interpretation and blood pressure measurement through role-play exercises.
Present and discuss cardiac cases effectively in a group setting.
